Pakistan’s second-largest city is Lahore. It is famous for its walled city and historical landmarks. Its inhabitants, who are appropriately referred to as Lahoris, include senior journalists, business tycoons, prominent politicians, and bureaucrats. The city is home to numerous beautifully designed and brilliantly maintained residential societies such as Sukh Chayn Garden, WAPDA Town, Park View City, and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA). DHA’s developers are well-known for creating luxurious housing developments with cutting-edge infrastructures. Initially, the residential scheme was exclusively reserved for army personnel. However, this rule was later modified to allow civilians to invest and live here as well.
